Ferrari Black Eau de Toilette for Christmas

As I've discussed in my previous post, I have always been a lover of perfume and scents. No matter where I go or what I will be doing, I need to wear a perfume so I will smell good inside the car, taxi, jeepney, in press conferences, private meetings, etc.

So it should not come as a surprise if I get a perfume as gift for Christmas. And this time, I got a Ferrari Black Eau de Toilette from a friend in Australia. It's a 125 ml made in Italy scent that has also been the perfume of choice of some Hollywood stars.

Ferrari Black is not available in the Philippines as far as I know because I have not seen this type of perfume in the local market. It comes in a simple black box that is made elegant with the Ferrari logo. The perfume bottle is also uniquely designed with nothing but the brand name and the embossed logo of Ferrari.

And since this is 125 ml, I'm pretty sure this will last for months. You see, before I leave the house I spray the Ferrari and I also have another perfume to spray before going back home.

A few spray, twice in the front and once in the back, is already enough to make me smell handsomely good.

iPad 2 for Christmas

I am the kind of person who does not really expect any gift during the Christmas season. Why so? I grew up in a poor family where Christmas is celebrated by going to the church and munching pansit and siopao during the Noche Buena. Christmas presents were rare and often not expected.

But I remember one Christmas day when my parents gave me a red plastic toy car. My first ever Christmas gift way back my elementary years. After that, I don't remember receiving anything but there was no qualms or complaints. After all, everyone in the family did not expect anything at all.

Now, the breeze of Christmas is starting to tell me that the day is fast approaching. Some of my Facebook friends have already posted in their statuses the gifts they have received this early. Good for them. But no complaints on my side. As I've said, ever since, I have not been expecting anything during Christmas because I'm used to not receiving material gifts although I find comfort in the fact that the Lord has been giving me and my family good health all year round, which is, I believe, the best give one can ever have in this lifetime.

Merry Christmas in advance everyone. And as I've said, I am not expecting anything during the seasons but if you will insist, I'd love to have an iPad 2. :)

Romancing Nokia

I have always been a Nokia lover. My first phone, way back in 2000, was a Nokia 5110. Remember the bulky black phone with antenna that resembled that of a wireless PLDT telephone? Yes, that was my first phone. And way back then, it was considered a luxury. Imagine buying 5110 for P12,000? Today, I don't think anyone would be interested to buy the said unit even for less than P500.

After two years, I decided to change my phone and bought a Nokia 3310 for P16,000. During those years, people were not scared to flaunt their mobile phones even inside a crowded PUJ or while walking in Colon Street because snatchers didn't know they can make money stealing mobile phones. I have never lost a cellphone to a thief though.

Must-haves for Bisdak Guys

It feels good to smell good.

I always love the feeling of smelling good especially when I am attending a gathering or press conferences. With the kind of job that I have, there are times that I get exposed to direct sunlight and become sweaty so I always see to it that I will never run out of cologne or perfume.

People might say that it is very unusual for guys to bring along cologne or a bottle of perfume inside the bag. Others might even brand me as gay but, lol, I am married with two kids and I never got a crush on Coco Martin or Piolo Pascual. I am a 100 percent bisdak guy.

Missed your VECO bills? Text to inquire

Receiving our monthly electricity bill from the Visayan Electric Company (VECO) can sometimes cause headache especially if the bill comes in red background, which means it's a disconnection notice. If you haven't paid your VECO bill for two months, then you will surely receive a disconnection notice.

But don't fret. You actually don't have to pay the two months total if you receive the disconnection notice. You can actually just pay the first month's due amount if you really don't have enough money for the bill of two months. But then, expect another disconnection notice next month because your bill will again be a total of two months.

Small Business Ideas for All Soul's Day

Yesterday, a neighbor went to the house and asked me if I'd be interested to pour in capital for the small business she had in mind. She said she wants to sell candles during the All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day, which will be taking place in a few days. She asked me if I can lend her the capital to buy candles at the Carbon Public Market so she can sell to neighbors and to those will be visiting the cemetery.

I was immediately sold to the idea so I told her to come back next week so we can map out the details of our "partnership". Selling candles during this season is really a good small business idea especially if you have neighbors or family members who would be willing to peddle the candles around the neighborhood and in cemeteries.

When in Cebu, how do you get a passport?

For two years I have turned down invitations for me to travel abroad for free due to the fact that I didn't have a passport back then. Okay, I'm this type of guy who really doesn't want to fall in long lines and browse elbows with different types of people. I mean, the sight of people lining up at the National Statistics Office (NSO) in MJ Cuenco Avenue and the long and winding line of human beings at the National Bureau of Investigation near the Capitol are really too much to bear for me.

But when I got invited again to travel to Korea for FREE, it finally hit me. It was about time to finally take on the challenge of lining up so I can get a passport.
